The Beginning
History
The current owners took over the Boulevard Hotel in 1984, five years later Hotel Oranje was taken over and in 1994 the adjacent Beach Hotel was added. Since then the hotel bears the name "the Hotels van Oranje". The former Boulevard Hotel is now the connecting link between the comfort Beach Hotel and the luxury Hotel Oranje and the restaurant De Wulk, which was purchased in 1997, is now Grand Café t Elfde Gebod. Construction of Beachclub O. started in 2010.
Location
The Hotels van Oranje are located directly on the lively boulevard and the long beach (13 km) of Noordwijk aan Zee. Noordwijk is a versatile seaside resort of international allure, centrally located between Amsterdam, The Hague and Leiden. The cozy boulevard and the old village center ensure an unforgettable stay. Located directly on the sea and in the heart of the Bulb region near the Keukenhof, Noordwijk is also called the flower resort of Europe.
Renovation and Innovation
In recent years, the Hotels van Oranje have focused on completely renewing all hotel facilities. Most recently all hotel rooms in Hotel Oranje have been stylishly modernized. The Superior Deluxe rooms with completely new bathrooms were delivered at the start of 2014. We also have four new and contemporary Executive Suites! These beautiful suites of no less than 60 m2 are an oasis of pure luxury. The new suites have terraces with unparalleled sea views! In addition to the hotel rooms, the stylish Imperial Bar, Aqua Sauna & Orange, Beauty Orange, meeting rooms and the hotel lobby have also been renewed in recent years. Innovation is important for the Hotels van Oranje and substantial investments will also be made in the coming period.
Sustainability
The Hotels van Oranje have the prestigious Green Globe certificate; this is a globally recognized certification program in the field of sustainability for the travel and hospitality industry. Corporate Social Responsibility is therefore a very important pillar within the Hotels van Oranje.
